You Leave the University
Before you leave the University:
- Contact your supervisor. Let him or her know in writing that
you will be leaving the University.
- Biweekly Employees: You should give a two-week notice.
- Monthly Employees: You should give a four-week notice.
- Let your departmental administrator and, if you are a member,
the University of Chicago Credit Union know what your new mailing
address is as soon as possible, if it's changing.
- Return your University key(s), pagers, campus card, and any
other University property to your departmental administrator on
your last day of work.
- Make the appropriate changes to your benefits. For details,

- You may be eligible to continue your medical and dental
coverage and/or Health Care Flexible Spending Account participation.
