ARTICLE II    RECOGNITION

The University recognizes the Union as the exclusive collective bargaining agency for all regularly scheduled full-time employees classified as Instrument Designer and Maker Group Leader, Instrument Designer and Maker, Instrument Maker, Crane Operator/Machinist/Mechanic, Instrument Welder, Machinist/Stock Attendant, Tool Crib Attendant and Tool Crib Helper employed in the Central Shop, the Geophysical Sciences Shop, the LASR Shop, the JFI/EFI Student Shop of the University of Chicago at its Chicago, Illinois campus, excluding office, clerical employees, professional employees, guards, students and supervisors (as defined by the National Labor Relations Act) and all other employees.
