Newly hired employees shall receive Starting/Probationary wage rates in accordance with Section 1 of Article XXII.
- Nothing in the above schedule shall prohibit the University from granting merit increases with the approval of Human Resources.

Instrument Designer and Maker Working Foreman shall receive $2.00/hr over his wage rate then in effect.

Effective May 6, 2007, all employees hired prior to May 1, 2007 shall receive a wage rate increase equivalent to 3% and a lump sum payment of $400.00.

Effective May 4, 2008, all employees hired prior to May 1, 2008 shall receive a wage rate increase equivalent to 3% and a lump sum payment of $400.00.

Effective May 3, 2009, all employees hired prior to May 1, 2009 shall receive a wage rate increase equivalent to 3% and a lump sum payment of $500.00.
