185 Agreement

ARTICLE 6 - SUBCONTRACTING

The University agrees not to subcontract work where it would result in the layoff of bargaining unit employees without first giving the Union notice and affording the Union the opportunity to bargain concerning such change. The parties agree that full consideration and weight will be given to economic savings and the University’s institutional needs. The University will not subcontract for the purpose of avoiding the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
