Courses include those concerning major University administrative functions, such as, the Comptroller's Office, Development, University Human Resources Management (UHRM), and University Research Administration (URA).

Choose from a variety of writing, career development, customer service, and time management courses.

Programs are available on a variety of topics, including
age and gender differences, race and ethnicity, Affirmative Action/Equal
Employment Opportunity, etc.
Information
Technology
Training opportunities focus on end-user technology skills and Microsoft Office courses taught by Computer Concepts.
Management Development
Courses include topics on managing employee performance, managing work groups and meetings.
Personal
Development
Choose from workshops, seminars, and brown-bag lunches on financial planning and retirement (TIAA-CREF and The Vanguard Group), employee wellness (through Perspectives, the University's Staff and Faculty Assistance Program provider), and other topics.
New Employee Orientation
UHRM Training and Development hosts New Employee Orientation (NEO) every Wednesday for new employees of the University. During the program, new employees are acquainted with University policies and procedures and given an introduction to the University community.
Graham School Courses
Graham School courses are available to benefits-eligible staff employees at no tuition in the following areas: Clinical Trials Management; Editing; Financial Decision Making; Integrated Marketing; Medical Writing and Editing; Project Mangement Strategy; Strategies for Nonprofit Management; and Process Management and Improvement.
