Personal Holidays are not accrued on a monthly basis. They are accrued as follows: 2 days January 1st, 1 day April 1st, 1 day July 1st and 1 day September 1st.

Please note, if you are a Local 743 employee, please also identify if you were hired before or after 03/10/96 so the sick accruals can be calculated accurately.

Each department must keep an accurate record of each eligible employee's vacation accrued and taken. Vacation, sick and personal holiday accrual records for exempt (monthly paid) employees may be maintained in hourly increments. Absences of less than one full day, however, are not to be charged to accumulated time, nor are they to be deducted from pay.
